My Bird Album was developed to enable bird photographers to collate their sightings and display them in an easy-to-use, engaging and enjoyable way. The collection is represented by a set of thumbnails displayed in a gallery. Each thumbnail consists of a crop from the photograph and a label that describes the bird.

Associated with each photograph is information that describes the bird and the location of the sighting. The photographs can be sorted using the sighting information - a powerful and informative feature. The thumbnails can also be displayed on a map showing the geographical distribution of your collection.

Integrated into the app is a global taxonomy based on the eBirds/Clements checklist of Birds of the World which you use to add additional information about the birds in your sightings.
